Mission
C.A.R.E.S. (Commmunity Advocates Researching Economic Services) is an organization determined to serve as a catalyst to bring about change in our community. With the generation in such a fragile state it is imperative for more community involvement. C.A.R.E.S. will provide a fresh face in the spearheading of this community movement. Driven by our motto, "Unity in our community", C.A.R.E.S. will be the bridge to link generations to come. With the partnership of other established organizations C.A.R.E.S. will be the voice behind the revitalization of a once thriving community. It will be our mission to intertwine past inspirations with current aspirations.
History
Established in 2000 with only two members. The name was Activity Planners but changed in 2005 to C.A.R.E.S. Due to the number of divisions that we have, we are broken down into different catagories; Executive Board, General Members, Youth Members, and Business Members. As of June 15, 2008 (142) events and functions has worked and done, thanks to the caring of the great community effort. We are a new geration group that just does not cater to one specific. We are vital people that want to keep up with the changing times and growing people. We are based in Salisbury, Maryland and have representatives in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Virginia. Everyday we are growing, and still looking for people just like you.
